Design
Firth Sheet Metal Ltd, is a family owned business which began trading in 1964. We relocated to our present site of 15,000 sq ft at Barry's Lane in 1990, with a workforce of approximately 50 employees

The Company offers a full package to the H & V industry. This includes CAD three dimensional drawing plus computerised plasma cutting of all parts, steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, etc .... Ductwork straights and fittings are manufactured with rolled on flange, using Firmac CNC equipment.
FirthSM also specialise in all kinds of fabrication and general sheet metal work in most metals. These contracts include kitchen or fume cupboard canopies, AC units, silencers / attenuators, grille / VAV boxes and general fabrications.

We have recently been approved to manufacture and install the high quality fire rated ductwork by Durasteel, a licence entrusted only to a few in the U.K.

We have professional staff to manage sites for the installation of our products throughout the U.K. These can also be arranged on mainland Europe by special agreement.


As Part of the FIRTH / FIRMAC Group, FirthSM Ltd use the highly acclaimed CGF flange system, the chosen rectangular ductwork used by top Companies in U.K and Europe
